Project 365 Jan 25th - Jan 31st

YAY! Here we are with another week of Project-365 down! I am really enjoying thinking of 'everyday' photos to show off our everyday life!!

This week I am playing with some frames in Photoshop - not sure if I like them on all of the photos - def LOVE it on my Friday Starbucks photo! ;)

Lazy Sunday - Seth playing his favorite Wii game from Christmas: Monster Jam Urban Assult; he is also still in his pj bottoms! lol - He loves lazy days at home & lately it seems we are having more of these days! Love it! Frame by Kim Crothers

Our big snow storm that didn't amount to anything - lol - the story this winter! We still have a few more months to get one good snow storm in! Frame by Andrea Victoria

Seth at his wrestling scrimmage - he took first place in the first round!! He was so proud of himself. He took second over all in his matches today. GREAT JOB! Frame by Sande Kreiger for Two Peas.


Jan 29th
Had to renew our auto registrations today - the one & only time I will have to do this during 2009 since both vehicles renew at the same time (due to me not renewing them in a timely fashion in 2007!) ACK! Frame by Sande Kreiger for Two Peas.

Fridays are great anyway but even better with a Grande Toffee Nut Latte (non-fat) from Starbucks sitting on my desk at work! :) Frame by Sande Kreiger for Two Peas.

Seth's basketball game! They are 4-0 ... today the score was 72-19 today AMAZING!

Give a scrapper a sketch ...

...and she'll scrap it! I cannot tell you how good it feels to be cranking thru cards and layouts that I am LOVING (after my Nov / Dec dry spell)! Of course I owe inspiration to some sketches - thanks to all of the great sketches out there! :)

I have pics picked out for the other side of the sketch, but I need some yellow ink and cyan ink (I always seem to run out of cyan ink!); so hoping to run to OfficeMax this week with my handy dandy coupon for $15 off a $75 purchase to stock up on ink! :)

Project 365 Jan 18th - Jan 24th

And another week is behind us and I am totally lovin' this project 365!! This is going to be super cool to look back at and see all of the everyday things we take for granted!! I haven't printed any pictures yet, I think I will do that at the end of each month and put them in the album.

Jan 18th - Our 12th wedding anniversary! Awwww! We didn't do anything but watch the football play-off's on tv ... I am still catching slack for not wanting to go to Brook's Steakhouse that night - but never fear, I will redeem it one of these days! ;)


Jan 19th - Here is the site from my scrap table; my faithful shadow Oswald (notice my white storage cube?) :)


Jan 20th - A new president takes office, it's amazing to have a discussion about the inauguration and history with Seth.


Jan 21st - When Rick works late, it's cereal night for Seth & me!


Jan 22nd - Just givin' back to the economy!


Jan 23rd - Grocery Shopping!! I left my list in the car and I remembered all but two items! WTG! lol!


Jan 24th - A monster truck on our fruit bowl; this just says "Seth was here" I have a collection of photos over the past 8 years of things like this. (Of course when I was taking the pic I barely touched the monster truck & he fell ... I couldn't get him to stay up there so it's a wonder how Seth got him to stay there for the past few days!)

Polka Dots!!

The latest challenge over at caardvarks is polka dots! Who doesn't love polka dots and who wouldn't love the ROCKIN' kit they are giving away as a prize!!

Also, be sure to check out the DT's great cards - especially Jolene's aqua & brown one (mmmmm aqua & brown!!) - that one is my birthday card!! YAY!!!

Here is my polka dot card (when the card is lying flat you can actually see the black card stock thru the heart border punch because the front part of the card is shorter than the back - however I didn't catch that part in my photograph & it's dark out now.) ;)

Project 365 Jan 11th - Jan 17th

Another week of Project 365!

Jan 11th

Seth's first sleep-over of the year at our house with his two best buddies - Michael & Scott

Jan 12th 

Leave it to the weathermen to predict 1-2" of snow & we really end up with about 6".  This is the view from Seth's school looking west.  I love when the clouds hang low over the mountains.

Jan 13th

Seth's pocket contents!  The same day I took this pic I saw the quote " not all treasure is silver & gold" ... perfect.

Jan 14th

Seth's new Denver Nuggets Basketball jersey.  Last Friday, Rick went to the Nuggets game & brought this home for Seth.

Jan 15th

This week Seth is the star student at school, so he gets to do all of the morning cool things.  I was glad it was a week when I was helping out so I could sneak in a pic!

Jan 16th

Ahhh me at my computer - not a great pic, but whatever I on the other side of the camera! ;) LOL!

Jan 17th

With the weather reaching the mid-60's, we hit the park with our friends.  Here are the boys investigating the ice covered stream ... and if you look near the top of the pic, you can see the dads up at the top field - where we later played kickball, baseball & football!  Good times!

Another new layout!

A new layout

I scrapped last night - YAY - and created a layout I absolutely LOVE!!! I love all of the distressed edges & the layers of papers and embellishments!!

Project 365 Jan 1st - Jan 10th

I was one of the lucky ones who was able to get a CK Project 365 kit - so worth the money and hassle, it's so cute, coordinated & all ready to go! It has been sitting here since Weds & I cannot wait to get started on it.

I am starting on Jan 1st (not Dec 29th like some people were starting on Dec 29th cause it was Monday).

Jan 1st - One of our holiday traditions is to buy yummy pears from Harry & David. Here is Seth digging into one!


Jan 2nd - During our long holiday, Seth enjoyed a lot of 'pj' days ... even when we had to run to the grocery store to get Rick's prescription, Seth wasn't about to get out of his pj's!


Jan 3rd - Rick & Ninja watching the NFL play-offs. I really love this photo of Rick!


Jan 4th - My brother Robert's 37th birthday; I talked to him on the phone for a bit, but we did not see him today. Today's photo is Seth playing his Nintendo DS.


Jan 5th - There is always laundry to do! Since our washer & dryer are upstairs with the bedrooms, I can monitor it and keep up on it regularly.


Jan 6th - Seth started back to school yesterday - homework was in full swing.


Jan 7th - Wrestling practice is Monday & Wednesdays - here is Seth & Griffin Payne practicing some new moves.


Jan 8th - Basketball practice started today. We also decided to take our Warriors Football banner to Li'l Ricci's for it's official hanging. The boys were super excited.


Jan 9th - Seth lost tooth #8 last night. It had been wiggly for a while & he finally pulled it out. The tooth fairy left him $1. And yes, we are totally anticipating him being an early orthodontics patient LOL!


Jan 10th - First basketball game today. We won 54 - 22, Seth made 10 baskets! Great game!

I was hot on Saturday but totally wrong on Sunday! ha! Do you notice I march to the beat of my own drum in the house? ;) Here's to next week - hoping for another great weekend of games!!

TO SCRAP!! lol! It's been since early November since I made anything other than a few random cards & it was starting to worry me! But a few challenges from www.acherryontop.com and I am good to go!

This second one is ACOT's monthly manufacturer challenge, to use October Afternoon - yum! My first time working with these papers & they are AWESOME!!



I was hoping to scrap some more, but after watching the Arizona / Atlanta game I am feeling lazy ;) maybe I will watch the Indy / San Diego game & be a couch potato! ;) I am hoping to see something good out of Arizona or Miami this year - so cool for both of them to come this far (especially Miami from a year ago - WOW! ... and since I don't have Denver or Dallas to cheer on :( ).
