Scrappin' Sports & More Design Team Work

Here are my design team projects for Scrappin' Sports & More. Check out the blog for other fabulous projects by the rest of the design team!

ten years old

Our Great Dane recently turned ten years old so I wanted to create a layout celebrating her birthday. My 9-year old son took this fantastic photo of her and I combined Scrappin' Sports & More's fun papers and stickers from two of their new lines: Down on the Farm & Calendars Made Easy.
Products used:
Calendars Made Easy: February paper #1280
Down on the Farm: Dogs paper #1293
Down on the Farm: Dogs stickers #5554

Begging Burros

One of our favorite stops on our South Dakota road trip was in Custer State Park to see the Begging Burros! If we would have had more food for them we would have stayed all day - but they quickly ate the two loaves of bread we brought for them and a box of graham crakers! At one point we had eight burros around our car! The white one at my window would nibble on my coat if I didn't feed him fast enough!
Products used:
Down on the Farm: Tractors #1302
Defining the Game: Soccer #1035
Defining the Game: Gymnastics #1025

And finally we used a sketch from Page Maps:

Three time Super Bowl CHAMPS

My son's football team has gone to the Super Bowl all four years, however they lost in 2009. Winning three Super Bowls in four years is quite the accomplishment for any team!

Products used:

Classic Sports Classic Football Paper #1150

Name of the Game Footballs Paper #1257

Football Reflections Paper #1198

Down the Field Rub-ons #7506

Scrappin' Sports Stuff DT Work

Here are my design team projects that were featured on the Scrappin' Sports Stuff blog this month. You can check out the blog for specific products & instructions.

Capturing another season of football with the tradition of the 'play off mohawk'. This photo was taken after they won the play off game. The journaling card was left blank so I could add the boy's names after I scanned the layout.

This layout was a lot of fun with the glimmer mists on the white cardstock! Such a great accomplishment!!

Had a lot of fun playing with Bo Bunny's Mama-razzi line to create a card for my cousin's birthday.

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I want to wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Be sure to take a step back from your busy day-to-day life and be thankful for the little things throughout the year, not only at Thanksgiving.

Earlier this month at Scrappin' Sports & More we created layouts about something we are thankful for ... here is mine ... I am thankful for the TIME TOGETHER we spend as a family and with each other - Here, I captured a photo of Rick helping Seth at a scrimmage football game this summer.

Happy Thanksgiving & thanks for stoppin' by!

It's been a while ....

... these days life seems to pass pretty fast! October came & went with the blink of an eye!

Now we are knee-deep in Superbowl fun! Seth's team is going for the 4th year in a row so we have a lot of traditions that we keep up with, which also keeps me very busy as the team mom.

The past few years I have made a DVD for the team with photos from the season, but this year we decided to mix it up a bit & I made one of these for each boy on the team:

And here is my practice one since baseball photos are easier:

Love how they turned out. The templates are from http://www.easydigitals.com/.

Last night treated myself to the latest QK alpha release, isn't that font just yummy!?

Thanks for stoppin' by & hopefully I will post more often! :)

Over Labor day weekend I was one busy scrapper! Eight 1-page layouts & one 2-page layout! YAY!

The first Two are design team work for Scrappin' Sports & More.

This summer Seth tried out for two baseball teams at a more competitive level. One was a tournament only team & one was AAA and tournaments. This layout is about his tryout for the AAA and tournament team.

It's not only hard to believe that summer is coming to an end as football pre-season is in full swing and my son's regular season games start September 4th but it's also hard to believe that my son is in his fourth year of tackle football.

Here is my layout titled "4th season". This layout was inspired from Creative Scrappers Sketch #118. Sketches are a great way to get my scrappin' mojo flowing! :)

Kenny Chesney - The Boys of Fall

**swoon** as if Kenny wasn't already one of my favorite artists ... he goes & does something like this! These song lyrics will be the inspiration for many football layouts to come, the ideas are already spinning in my head!

Hope you enjoy this song too!

Back to school!

Are your kiddos gearing up to head back to school? My son started the 4th grade last week! Though he had his doubts since his two best pals were in two other classes - he is lovin' his teacher & his classmates!

I love to give my son's teacher a little treat to kick off the school year - I usually make a card & tuck in a Starbucks gift card. Here is the card for my son's teacher this year:

This card featureds the fun new WRMK Show & Tell Line and will be on the Scrappin Sports Stuff Blog this month, be sure to check it out! :)

Monster Trucks: World Finals X (Scrappin' Sports & More CHA!)

In 2009 we took a trip to Las Vegas to see the Monster Jam World Finals X - this is the big end of season event in which trucks qualify for all season long. At first, I was just excited for the mini family vacation ... I never expected to have as much fun as I did or meet as many nice people. The drivers of the Monster Trucks are so nice, so much fun and so very appreciative of their fans (as well as their fan's parents for bringing them!)

This layout features Scrappin' Sports & More's Custom Spirit Names Paper to highlight the champions of the 2009 World Finals X. The Free-Style champion was AirForce and the Racing winner was Maximum Destruction. I had a lot of fun creating this layout!

When selecting my Scrappin' Sports & More custom paper for the road trip, I decided to have fun and mimic a road with the black with yellow and white stripes.

I absolutely love the Scrappin' Sports & More Custom Flourish Paper - this paper is perfect for so many different events and themes! I decided on American Pride because the flourishes reminded me of fireworks.
